With the warm orange, iron-rich clay body and its coating of white slip, the contrast between clay and slip is a hallmark of buncheong ware. This tea cup by Yeon tae Park features a round and full shape. The swelling bowl of the cup suggests a shape and proportion similar to tea bowls. Like a tea bowl in miniature, Park gives even his smallest forms attention that makes each one special.

Made to be used for serving Gong-fu cha style of Chinese tea, this cup would also work well as a sake cup or a sipper to enjoy whiskey or other spirits.
